Leidos is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Defense Programs. This position supports the Federal Program Management responsible for nuclear weapons production integration, stockpile sustainment, and modernization programs across the Nuclear Security Enterprise. The selected candidate will operate with significant autonomy to support one or more mission areas, including: NA-121 – Stockpile Production Integration (production strategy, capacity, and execution alignment) NA-122 – Stockpile Sustainment (lifecycle management, reliability, and stockpile health) NA-125 – Office of Stockpile Modernization (development, integration, and transition to production) This role requires the ability to lead integration across complex, multi-organizational programs, aligning program requirements, schedules, and execution across design laboratories, production agencies, and DoD stakeholders. The selected candidate will provide program-level leadership, risk identification, and decision support, ensuring execution alignment across production, sustainment, and modernization efforts within the Nuclear Security Enterprise. This is a full-time contractor support position located on-site at NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM. Primary Responsibilities: Lead integration and execution of nuclear weapons production, sustainment, and modernization programs across the enterprise. Advise Federal Program Management on program strategy, execution risks, lifecycle considerations, and enterprise-level impacts. Assess technical, cost, and schedule performance across laboratories, production agencies, and DoD stakeholders. Identify cross-program dependencies, risks, and impacts affecting execution; develop and drive mitigation strategies. Coordinate across NNSA headquarters, design laboratories, production agencies, and DoD stakeholders to resolve complex program challenges. Align program requirements, schedules, and deliverables from development through production and sustainment. Develop and oversee integrated program schedules, milestones, and execution plans. Provide senior-level briefings to federal and military leadership on program status, risks, and execution challenges. Support DOE product realization processes, including production execution, lifecycle sustainment, and development-to-production transition. Interface with DoD stakeholders to ensure alignment between stockpile requirements, modernization efforts, and operational needs. Contribute to Air Force Nuclear Certification activities across production, sustainment, and modernization mission areas. Travel as required to national laboratories, production facilities, and DoD locations to support program execution. Requirements: Active DOE Q clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Program Management, Business, or related discipline with 12 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience. Experience supporting nuclear weapons programs within DOE/NNSA, DoD, national laboratories, or production agencies. Experience in project management, program integration, systems engineering, acquisition support, or related disciplines. Understanding of Nuclear Security Enterprise roles and responsibilities, including design and production agency interfaces. Experience briefing and advising federal officials or military leadership.
