Job Description:
Must have an active DOE Q clearance. Active, meaning the
individual granted a clearance is briefed and currently occupies a
position for which the clearance is required. Leidos is seeking a
Lead Project Manager to support the National Nuclear Security
Administration (NNSA), Office of Defense Programs. This position
supports the Federal Program Management responsible for nuclear
weapons production integration, stockpile sustainment, and
modernization programs across the Nuclear Security Enterprise. The
selected candidate will serve as a senior leader and enterprise
integrator, supporting one or more mission areas, including: NA-121
– Stockpile Production Integration (production strategy, capacity
alignment, and enterprise execution) NA-122 – Stockpile Sustainment
(lifecycle strategy, reliability, and long-term stockpile health)
NA-125 – Office of Stockpile Modernization (program execution,
integration, and delivery across development and production) This
role requires the ability to lead integration across multiple
programs, organizations, and mission areas, shaping strategy and
execution across the Nuclear Security Enterprise. The selected
candidate will provide enterprise-level leadership, risk
assessment, and strategic guidance, influencing decision-making at
the senior federal level across production, sustainment, and
modernization efforts. This is a full-time contractor support
position located on-site at NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM.
Primary Responsibilities: Lead enterprise-level integration of
nuclear weapons production, sustainment, and modernization programs
across the Nuclear Security Enterprise. Advise Federal Program
Management on program strategy, execution risks, lifecycle
considerations, and enterprise-level impacts. Evaluate technical,
cost, and schedule performance across programs and identify
systemic risks impacting execution. Identify and resolve
cross-program dependencies and challenges affecting development,
production, sustainment, and delivery. Drive coordination across
NNSA headquarters, design laboratories, production agencies, and
DoD stakeholders to align enterprise execution. Align development,
production, and sustainment activities across multiple programs and
organizations. Oversee enterprise-level schedules, milestones, and
execution frameworks across assigned mission areas. Provide
executive-level briefings to senior federal and military leadership
on program status, risks, and strategic considerations. Support DOE
product realization processes, including lifecycle management,
production execution, and development-to-production transition.
Interface with senior DoD stakeholders to ensure alignment between
stockpile requirements, modernization efforts, and operational
needs. Contribute to Air Force Nuclear Certification activities
across production, sustainment, and modernization portfolios.
Travel as required to national laboratories, production facilities,
and DoD locations to support enterprise integration. Requirements:
Active DOE Q clearance. Master’s degree in Engineering, Science,
Program Management, Business, or related discipline with 15 years
of experience or a Doctorate with 13 years of experience.
Experience supporting nuclear weapons programs within DOE/NNSA,
DoD, national laboratories, or production agencies. Experience in
project management, program integration, systems engineering,
acquisition support, or related disciplines. Understanding of
Nuclear Security Enterprise roles and responsibilities, including
design and production agency interfaces. Experience briefing and
advising senior federal officials or military leadership. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft

posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $139,100.00 -
$251,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
