Is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the plan of care for the person served. Performs and directs administration of all physical therapy modalities & collaborates throughout the process with the patient and their family and the interdisciplinary team./n/nEDUCATION: Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy./n/nCERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure & BLS certification required./n/nSKILLS: Demonstrates accountability and skills in assessment/evaluation, decision-making and time management. Should have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organizational skills./n/nNATURE OF SUPERVISION: Responsible to: Director/Manager Sports Medicine/n/nENVIRONMENT: Bloodborne pathogen: B/n/nWorks in a clean, well lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients and hazardous chemicals. Subject to stressful professional relationships./n/nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good physical condition. Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing and walking. Lifts, positions, and transfers patients and manipulates occupied equipment. Lifts supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs.
