working with Job.com LLC to find a qualified PCU RN in Albuquerque,
New Mexico, 87101! We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse
(RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in
Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have strong
cardiovascular experience and the ability to provide high-quality
patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The PCU RN will
be responsible for monitoring patients with complex, acute, and
chronic conditions who require intermediate-level care between ICU
and medical-surgical units. This role requires strong clinical
judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to
collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Key
Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to PCU patients with
cardiac and other acute conditions Continuously monitor and assess
patient status and cardiac rhythms Administer medications and
treatments per physician orders Collaborate with physicians and
healthcare team members to develop care plans Educate patients and
families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Respond
appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergencies 5
