to apply!***Leidos is hiring a full time Administrative Assistant
to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)
B61-12/B61-13 Life Extension Programs (NA-125.1). This individual,
within NA-125 (Office of Stockpile Modernization), is responsible
for a wide range of administrative assistant duties in support of
the B61-12/B61-13 Federal Program Manager (FPM) and other Federal
and contractor staff as assigned. The successful candidate will use
advanced computer skills to streamline processes, manage executive
schedules, as well as compile briefings, reports, track actions and
coordinate other taskings for the B61-12/B61-13 Programs. The
position requires experience exercising mature judgment and making
independent decisions in accordance with established policies,
rules and procedures. The work performed under these programs is in
support of the successful achievement of goals related with a long
term, multi-billion-dollar program within the National Nuclear
Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs.Location:
This position is full time in Albuquerque, NM at the NNSA-ABQ/John
Gordon Complex and will collaborate and coordinate with their
counterparts in NA-125, NA-12, etc. as required.Responsibilities
include:
- Ability to manage executive schedules, multiple meetings, and
working in classified and unclassified environments; arrange
classified and unclassified conferences and meetings.
- Maintaining classified document receipts and hand carry
approval memoranda.
- Managing work orders in support of onboarding process, setting
up office space, equipment, office supplies and support for new
personnel.
- Processing Visit Requests (i.e., security clearances, Sigma
access, etc.).
- Using advanced computer skills including information
management, using and managing data, setting up and troubleshooting
electronic processes to streamline procedures.
- Managing facilities support and office space requests.
- Developing and presenting training material, keeping track of
certification renewals and training requirements.
- Assisting NA-125.1 Federal staff with briefings, uploading, and
filing materials for slide presentations.
- Working with NA-125.1 Federal and contractor staff to oversee
deliverables and actions due to NA-125 management, etc.
- Managing a wide range of administrative assistant duties
(travel, calendars, correspondence, organization charts, telephone
lists) in support of the office.
- Utilize ConcurGov travel system to manage and track division
travel expenses on a high level.
- Manage Foreign Travel Management System requests and arrange
foreign travel.
- Managing physical security of classified safe and administering
security procedures for access to controlled areas.
- Protect integrity, authenticity, and confidentiality of records
in accordance with established procedures.
- Facilitating senior management correspondence and communication
including preparing memos, and correspondence with minimal
oversight, as well as accurately compose and prepare effective
correspondence and reports using the DOE eDOCs system.
- Maintaining awareness of and competence in headquarters
initiatives for communication and information sharing.
- Maintaining attention to detail in a multi-project work
environment, with potential frequent interruptions, with competing
needs requiring clear understanding of prioritization.
- Ability to exercise mature judgment and make independent
decisions in accordance with established policies, rules, and
procedures.
- Ability to create and maintain programmatic filing system that
complies with DOE Orders and NARA requirements.
- Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with a range
of federal and contractor staff.Required Education, Experience &
Clearance:
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance and/or an active DOE Q
clearance
- High school diploma with 5+ years of related experience, of
which 3 years are working in classified and unclassified
environments, including handling classified documents and
electronic files
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with
demonstrated experience developing briefings for senior and
executive management
- Detail oriented, professional demeanor with strong
organizations and proven interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS
PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Excel) with particular emphasis on word
processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro with particular emphasis on
creating forms, editing correspondence, and preparing documents for
e-signature.
- Experience with administering security processes that ensured
security and integrity of classified systems, hardware, and data in
accordance with established procedures
- Experience in mailing and/or transmitting classified
materials
- Experience maintaining physical security of classified safe,
including all content, from creation through destruction in
accordance with and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Must have understanding of policies and procedures applicable
to support NNSA programs
- Must be self-starting, possess an ability to work in a highly
dynamic environment, and have an ability to interface with a broad
range of federal and military senior staff and leadership.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience working in government, DoD, DOE, or military
environment
- Nuclear weapons program experience

posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 -
$117,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general
guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement
