hiring for a Registered Nurse to join our Center for Reproductive
Health. This opportunity is a 0.5FTE part-time day shift opening
working 20 hours a week located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
*Sign-on Bonus Available* Minimum $77,940 - Midpoint $99,332*
*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per
week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the
appropriate FTE. Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient
care in procedural and operating room settings, collaborating with
the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care. The RN
coordinates nursing services, manages transitions of care, and
supports patient and family education. They serve as a clinical
resource, ensuring adherence to national quality standards, and
participate in quality improvement projects. The RN also assists
with documentation, promotes workplace safety, and represents the
clinic at community health events. Minimum Job Requirements of a
Registered Nurse: Associate degree in nursing with at least 1 year
of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
specified. Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico or
Compact State Nursing License. Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). If Dental, Pediatric Life
Support (PALS) is also required. (Certifications must include hands
on training and be obtained within 30 days of hire). Completed
degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum
education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year
for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if
applicable) will be required if selected for hire. Duties and
Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse: Provides direct patient
care within the procedural or operating room setting, collaborating
with pre/post area nursing staff to plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care. Educates patients and families, and orients
colleagues and peers. Coordinates nursing care across the continuum
of care, including patient education, transitions, and direct care.
Ensures care meets the needs of patients and families. Assesses
patient conditions and provides specialized nursing services,
setting goals, planning, and implementing care in accordance with
medical protocols. Ensures accurate and complete medical
documentation. Administers medications and performs routine
treatments, assists physicians with tests, and supports complex
procedures and treatments. Acts as a liaison between physicians,
patients, and staff, providing education, problem-solving, and
health management assistance. Serves as a clinical resource,
ensuring quality patient care that meets national standards and
quality metrics. Supports the development of emergency protocols
for adverse patient conditions. Participates in the creation of
health education materials and assists in the orientation,
training, and evaluation of new staff. Promotes workplace safety
and continuous improvement of environmental practices. Processes
data, generates reports, and responds to patient calls as needed.
Interacts with clinical staff and other healthcare providers
regarding documentation policies and ensures accuracy and
compliance with required procedures. Represents clinics at health
fairs or community events, promoting clinic services to
professionals and the public. Supports quality improvement projects
in clinics and participates in compliance initiatives. Performs
miscellaneous job duties as assigned. About Center for Reproductive
