Job Title: EEG Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: EEG Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 05:30 Experience: 1 year required License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: BLS, ABRET Must-Have: COVID vaccination required, religious and medical exemptions accepted Description: No locals within 75 miles. First-timers accepted. Weekend work required for 4x10s. Clinician will not float within scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedule; 5x8 Mon-Fri and 4x10s Fri-Mon. Adult inpatient and outpatient cases. Experience with ambulatory EEG, long-term monitoring, video monitoring, portable recording, and sleep EEG is needed. You will check, operate, and calibrate electromyographic equipment in accordance with standard procedures. Types of cases include epilepsy and other related conditions. Facility is a Level I Trauma, Teaching, Children's Hospital, and short-term acute care center. The hospital has a total of 554 staffed beds. Scrub color is maroon. Charting and communication are done through Powerchart and Neuroworkbench. Flu vaccine is required, with medical and religious exemptions accepted. Orientation modules are completed during orientation and annually. The facility prefers that travelers only request one holiday block maximum. Local driver's license or transportation plan required.
