Position Summary
UNM's Facilities Management (FM) is looking to hire a Supervisor of
Energy Services to join our FM Engineering division. The qualified
candidate will oversee and coordinate the operational delivery of
maintenance, construction, and commissioning services for energy
management and controls systems; building HVAC, lighting digital
controls, and alarm systems throughout the main campus and branch
campuses. Supervises the daily activities of a specialized
technical workforce.

Conditions of Employment
High school diploma or GED; at least 9 years of experience directly
related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Certification/Licensure: Current New Mexico Journeyman in one of
the following disciplines: Journeyman Refrigeration (JR),
Journeyman Gasfitter (JG), Journeyman Plumber and Natural Gasfitter
(JPG), Journeyman Boiler Operator (BO1), Journeyman Boiler Operator
(BO2) or a Journeyman Electrician (JE98), Journeyman Plumbing (Jp),
Journeyman Gas (Jg), ES-3J Sound and Intercommunication and
Electrical Alarm Systems, EE-98J Electrical (includes all ESJ
Specialties), EE-98J Electrical (includes all ESJ Specialties),
EL-1J Electrical Distribution Systems, including transmission
lines, ES-3 Sound and Intercommunication and Electrical Alarm
Systems, EE-98 Electrical (includes ER-1 and ES classifications) &
EL-1 Electrical Distribution Systems, including transmission
lines.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above
the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience
on a year for year basis. Completed management training from
UNM-Lead or similar.
