Summary
Evaluates Maximo work requests and then plans and schedules craft persons to perform work requested on Maintenance Repair Orders, Preventive Maintenance, maintenance work orders, and equipment engineering work orders. Plans and schedules new/existing construction and modification efforts for buildings and grounds.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews work requests to determine if the scope of work required falls under the definition of maintenance and repair, preventive or predictive maintenance, or new construction/modification. Validates work to be performed is scoped appropriately as SCA or DBA work.
  • Coordinates and schedules planned power outages.
  • Acts as technical lead for facilities technicians and provides coaching to less seasoned Facilities Techs.
  • Position acts as expert in Maximo system requirements / scheduling / reports.
  • Separates orders for new construction / modification to including planning and scheduling of crafts people and contractors.
  • Schedules work orders for machine capability studies and machine tool overhauls, or modifications resulting from studies.
  • Plans and schedules maintenance / preventative maintenance work requests that do not fall under the definition of maintenance and repair.
  • Provides electrical/mechanical technical guidance for work to be performed onsite by general maintenance workers / electricians; ensuring alignment with all applicable federal, state and local codes.
  • POC for the construction manager detailing contractor scheduling to ensure we are in compliance with safety and HS&E on all construction work.
  • Based on Maximo requests, evaluate and scopes jobs to determine levels of priority, potential hazards, and materials needed; applies time standards.
  • Creates scope of work to be utilized for bidding / reviewing of construction projects.
  • Ensures material availability, utilizing approved purchasing methods to acquire product for contracted work.
  • Maintains priority listing of maintenance work activities and completes reports.
  • Monitors and reports status and efficiency of work in progress.
  • Schedules and provides work direction to maintenance workers on work orders.
  • Performs data entry and completes required reports.
  • May perform other duties as required.
  • Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established ES&H requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment.
  • Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every associate has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.You Must Have
    • 7+ years, in planning and performing preventative maintenance and maintenance of facilities and/or equipment, experience in order and purchasing materials.
    • 3+ years of general knowledge of computers (Microsoft office suites).
    • Ability to obtaining a Q clearance.
    • 2+ years experience reading drawings, layouts, and schematics..We Value
      • Qualified journey crafts persons with several years experience, preferably at FM&T.
      • Knowledge and skill as attained in an apprenticeship program or comparable on the job training.
      • Experience in using a Work Order data base system like MAXIMO.
      • Leadership skills and experience with a safety mindset.
