Job Description:

GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Production Planner to join our team. This position is full-time and will be located in Albuquerque, NM. Clearance Level Required: Uncleared - Must be able to obtain and maintain a ClearancePer Diem / Travel Authorized: NoOverview:

• Work with project leads, Project Managers, and project controllers to develop coordinated production schedules.
• Oversee production metrics and present updates to leads and management.
• Partner with other production planners and manufacturing personnel to ensure production deliveries are met.
• Coordinate activities with purchasing to acquire material, equipment, and services.
• Plan and conduct production, including requirements planning, shop floor scheduling, and inventory control.
• Work with the IT team to develop vital Factory Works infrastructure to track and control production activities.
• Partner with outside PRTs to procure development materials of varying pedigrees to support development builds.
• Manage bonded stores inventory to maintain accountability of ASIC inventory.
• Perform lot management activities using FactoryWorks and eCATT systems.
• Help build MRP planning parameters (lead-times, etc.).
• Proactively identify issues that have the potential to impact the production build plan and work with appropriate personnel to mitigate risk.
• Forecast and report on manufacturing capacity constraints using Autosched, Excel, and Primavera P6 software.Clearance & Citizenship Requirement:
  • To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
