Clearance: TS/SCI AERMOR is seeking candidates to shall provide
operational experience sufficient to conduct informative Cyber
Operations,Mission Assurance(MA) assessments and statistical
knowledge sufficient to develop assessment metrics.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform assessor/observer duties during the assessment:
- Assessment activities:to include observations, shall be in
accordance with the Cyber Readiness Campaign (CRC)/Event Proposal
(EP) and local rules of engagement (ROE) as contained in the
exercise Operations Order (OPORD) or Execution Order (EXORD) and
the Designated Approval Authority (DAA) letter.
- Support CRC Event Assessments conducted outside of the capstone
assessment.
- Collect Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) when
applicable during verification validation review assessment
events.
- Assist in the preparation and reporting and analysis of key
findings for inclusion in a Quick Look Briefing.
- Generation of a technical network vulnerability and
verification validation review assessment in the form of an event
observation, analysis, and recommendation reports (OAR).
- Provide subject matter experts knowledge to assist in the
preparation of the Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), SME Report,
and AFOTEC Roll-Up which will consist of the review of prior OARs,
the identification of trends, and combined findings and
recommendations per year per CRC.
- ProvideAdvisory and Assistance Services (AA&S) support in
the development of Vulnerability Remediation recommendations.
- Work with the assessment lead and the Persistent Cyber
Operations (PCO) lead to develop and write lessons learned and
report the actionable and/or attributable remediation
recommendations. Required Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years experience test reporting and cyber data
collection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage
multiple project tasks.
- Familiaritywith the Risk Management Framework.
- Ability to articulate open issues and risks in a timely manner
to management and make recommendations.
- Ability to integrate into ongoing testing efforts, requiring
subject matter expertise in multiple disciplines of vulnerability
testing and assessment, the ability to interact and liaison
directly with clients, and a strong ability to write and document
findings..
- Ability to articulate open issues and risks in a timely manner
to management and make recommendations.
- Knowledge of current security tools and industry best
practices: tools, techniques, procedures, tactics, attacks and
forensics.
- Understand fundamentals of how to exploit vulnerabilities in
tested systems including (but not limited to): system
misconfigurations, zero-day vulnerabilities, Denial of Service
(DoS) or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) vulnerabilities,
privilege escalation, unsupported or unpatched software, and
phishing attacks.? Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systemsor related
