Job Description:
-The candidate will assist the Space and Cyber Business Unit
with the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple
projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and levels of
risk. -The candidate will have significant interface with the
Business Manager, Contract Management, Program Manager, Senior
Technical Personnel, Accounting, Accounts Receivable as well as
other functional organizations.Duties & Responsibilities -Reports
detailed accurate information analyzes financial data in support of
project cost and schedule status and presents briefings to the
Business Office, Contracts Office, and Technical Managers as
required.Ability to analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability,
invoicing, unbillable, costs on hold, subcontracts on a monthly
basis and attend briefings with functional staff to validate
current project or subcontract status.Support PM and Engineering
staff by linking technical performance and status to financial
results and reporting.Monitor and update accounting records from
invoices received relative to Subcontract agreements, Purchase
Orders, and Consultant Agreements.Collect invoices and compare with
historical purchasing data to insure accuracy and completeness of
the invoice prior to processing.Work closely with Purchasing and
Contracts personnel to insure accuracy of invoices.Create Voucher
Packets for review and approval, to include working within the
CostPoint system for processing.Assist in researching and resolving
any discrepancies and coding errors on processed invoice
payments.Collaborate within Purchasing and Contracts to ensure the
integrity of data flowing through the accounting system and billing
to the Government Customer.Review and assist in response to Vendor
inquiries concerning payment of outstanding invoicesSkills
-Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving

proactively solve problems by conducting research, conceiving and
developing new and innovative ideas, theories, and/or solutions,
and predicting possible outcomes.Analytical, communication and
presentations skills needed as well as the ability to operate
independently and as a strong member of a team.Requires mastery of
basic MS Office Software (Word, Excel, and Power Point).Specialized
experience in areas such as management analysis, financial
analysis, budget preparation and analysis, cost/schedule analysis,
organizational performance assessments, strategic planning, project
planning, and performance and schedulingKnowledge of Government
budget cycle, specifically as it relates to earned value management
systems, complex scheduling, risk management, and systems
engineering life cycleEffective and clear communicator -Excellent
interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team
environment, be flexible, multi-task, operate with little direct
supervision, and meet customer deadlines. - -Minimum Requirements
-Minimum of 5 years Program Control experience.Exposure to and
basic understanding of the government acquisition process. This
includes working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
and FAR supplements including, but not limited to, DoD and NASA
supplements.Experience in Contractor Procurement System processes
and procurement system managementMust understand the various
contract types and their associated fee structures.Responsiveness,
flexibility, organization, and attention to detail are
necessary.Must be a highly -motivated self-starter.The successful
candidate should be able to work independently with little
supervision and work well with others in a collaborative
environment.Excellent written/verbal communication and
interpersonal skills.Must possess a strong ability to effectively
self-manage changes, claims, and implementation
contract/subcontract terms and conditions in Project execution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and
Outlook).Must be able to obtain or have an active and transferrable
DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required
level. - Must be able to maintain the required clearance -
-Preferred Requirements: -Experience in Project
Management/Budgeting.Pricing experience or the desire to learn
pricing techniques is a plus.Experience with CostPoint is also a
plus.Applicants for positions which require a US government
security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US
citizenship. -
