established practices and procedures. Takes call. Schedules MRI
exams, stocks procedure rooms. Acts as a resource person to
Radiology staff and medical staff.

groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using
strong dialogue and customer service competencies.* SKILL-Written
communicationResponsibilities:Responsibilities:*Instructs patients
regarding magnetic resonance imaging procedures; prepares,
positions, and manipulates patients to ensure appropriate placement
for imaging.*Selects appropriate imaging techniques, calibrates
console and peripheral hardware, as required.*Obtains images,
produces film records and backups from desk to storage media, and
transfers for desk to work station.*Inspects for quality and
completeness of exam.*Performs quality assurance on magnetic
resonance equipment and laser camera.*Performs physical inventories
and maintains clinical supplies.*Provides instruction and guidance
in magnetic resonance imaging procedures and equipment/facilities
usage to staff and/or students in training.*Ensures adherence to
established PHS/PMG and department policies and procedures,
objectives, quality assurance programs, safety standards, HIPAA and
compliance regulations.*May assist in research and/or clinical
subject scheduling.*Maintains professional growth and development
through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep
abreast of the latest trends in the field of expertise
