Job Description - Head of Purchasing (HOT0BJ3N)Job Number:HOT0BJ3NWork LocationDouble Tree by Hilton Mexico City Santa Fe, Calle 3 No. 55, Mexico City 1219A Purchasing Supervisor will supervise the purchase of goods and materials required by the hotel in adherence to policy, with a focus on cost reduction and profitability.What will I be doing?As Purchasing Supervisor, you will oversee the procurement of goods and materials for the hotel, ensuring compliance with policies and cost efficiency. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Purchasing Manager with procurement activities
• Supervising the purchase of appropriate goods and materials at competitive prices and correct quantities
• Reporting regularly on purchasing and inventory levels to optimize future procurement
• Communicating savings achievements to the hotel team
• Collaborating with hotel management to improve purchasing processes, reduce waste, and enhance profitability
• Maintaining effective communication with all hotel departments
• Participating in finance meetings as required
• Adhering to fire, health, and safety regulations and procedures
• Promoting environmentally conscious practicesWhat are we looking for?We seek a Purchasing Supervisor committed to delivering excellent guest experiences and working collaboratively with team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • Experience in high-volume accounts functions
