We are excited about what we do, and we need you on our team as we take on exciting challenges for AFRL's pursuits in advanced technology development.We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer II to join the team with Aerodyne supporting AFRL at Kirtland AFB.The Systems Engineer II will:Perform systems engineering activities including but not limited to: conducting requirements analysis, developing MBSE models, orbital analysis, managing technical interfaces, coordinating with stakeholders, creating verification plans, maintaining requirements traceability, and supporting architecture development.

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
• 4-7 years space systems experience
• Experience with MBSE tools
• TS/SCI Clearance required
• Experience with requirements management
• Background in space systems development, including orbital mechanics
• Knowledge of verification and validation processes
• Demonstrated technical documentation skills
• Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environmentRequisition Preferences:
  • INCOSE ASEP certification
  • Experience with DoD space systems
  • Knowledge of satellite communication systems
