  • LOCAL TRAVELERS ONLY -When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • The individual must demonstrate skills necessary to function in the Echo lab. Candidate must have advanced knowledge in basic knowledge of imaging equipment.
  • Candidate must be able to work cohesively with other team members.
    • Job Requirements
    • Candidate must be registered, have credentials and NM state licensing (medical Imaging or Radiation Therapy).
    • BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • Local traveler needed 1 day/week to keep all echo clinics open while covering PTO of multiple tech.
      • On Call requirements: Yes cover call /back up call.
      • Floating requirements: Yes work in both inpatient (8/9 pts) and outpatient clinic (9 pt.).
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
      • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
      • Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • SCRUBS: Required and provided by the facility.
        • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
          • Additional Details
          • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024).
          • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
          • State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice.
          • The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
          • ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
