We are currently seeking an Operations Support Generalist/ACH, Share Draft & Wire Transfer Payment Processor to join Kirtland Credit Union in our corporate office at 6440 Gibson Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.

  Position Summary:Support the daily operational activities to include share draft processing, ACH file processing, and wire transfer processing. Process and reconcile the various electronic and batch transaction posting files daily, while maintaining strict adherence to Banking and Credit Union Regulations, established processing deadlines, and current Kirtland Credit Union (KCU) policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist other departments in the prompt and accurate resolution of member complaints/questions. Assist in inventory and retention of all documents related to transaction processing functions. Support the credit union's mission, vision, strategic goals, and service standards. Support and/or provide exceptional internal and external member service. Some of your Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective payment processing functions of checks, automated clearinghouse (ACH), and Wire Funds transfers.
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned research, reporting, and reconciliation functions.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
    We Would Like You to Have:
    • Associate degree and/or bachelor's in business or related field preferred.
    • Knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations for all ACH, check and wire processing preferred.
    • Three years of directly related experience in a financial institution working in payment processing/servicing with a focus on support operations preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with members and other employees.
    • Strong problem resolution skills
    • Strong Multi-tasking abilities
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Able to work with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy, and self- accountability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail Oriented
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
