Santa Fe based operation consists of an ALS unit based out of the
Presbyterian Santa Fe Facility. This Paramedic unit has a slower
pace as it is station based and a lower call volume as they provide
northern New Mexico interfacility transfer coverage. It's a perfect
change of pace outside of a 911 response and within the family
atmosphere of our supportive AAS team.This is a Full Time position,
consisting of 3-12hr shifts in days (), nights (), and/or swings

Qualifications:High school diploma/GEDCurrent New Mexico driver's
license is required (out-of-state candidates have 30 days from date
of hire to obtain) without relevant restrictions.Must be at least
18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian
policyMust possess and maintain a State of New Mexico Paramedic
licenseMust maintain all required certifications (i.e., ACLS, BLS,
DOT certification)Must be up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700
coursesAbility to perform all skills associated with paramedic
licensureResponsibilities:Maintains current working knowledge and
certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Maintains positive communications and
collaboration with emergency department physicians and staff
regarding the definitive therapy administered to patients being
delivered for emergency care at their facilityDocumentation of
patient care using ImageTrend charting softwareAssists in the
instruction of emergency medical services (EMS) students to provide
for positive work-related experiencesAttendance at departmental
staff meetings and/or in-service educational programs while keeping
current with developments in the field through participation in
seminars workshops and/or publicationsProactively utilizes best
