Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Multi-discipline Security Specialist (Physical Security, Operational Security, Law Enforcement, etc.) to assess vulnerabilities of critical U.S. and allied national/theater mission systems, networks, architectures, infrastructures, and assets at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and other locations in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Nuclear Enterprise Support Directorate (NE), Mission Assurance (MA) Department.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of security vulnerabilities
• Provide recommendations to enhance the overall mission protection by preventing or mitigating damage to or destruction of mission-critical systems should a plausible threat be carried out
• Provide expert knowledge on all aspects of security management, security operations, and security systems analysis
• Examine the overall physical security posture, security management, contingency planning, overall security awareness, physical security systems designed to deny and delay, protective barriers, lock and key systems, access control procedures, electronic security systems designed to detect and assess intrusion, and response force capabilities for possible weaknesses and deficiencies
• Provide support to the NE-MA Department by attending and participating in relevant Department, Directorate, and Agency trainings, meetings, or other efforts to better align the Department, Directorate, and Agency missions
• Brief, present, or collaborate on one's area of expertise Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Ability to deploy to Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and other locations (CONUS and OCONUS)
  • Willingness to accept worldwide deployments, which include high-threat, permissive areas, presenting some risks to personal safety
  • Ability to adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-recommended immunizations for worldwide travel
  • Ability to travel on short notice, work non-standard hours, and take on-call duty
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to prepare written reports, white papers, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Capability to operate in all operational and physical environments and work collaboratively with U.S. Government military and/or civilian personnel Company Overview
