Job Description:

We are seeking an Electromechanical Technologist
On any given day, you may be called on to:
--- Participate as a part of a functional team to operate a variety of electrical and mechanical systems that
facilitate daily accelerator operations at the AGT Facilities.
--- Be assigned to work in various areas/sections of all three accelerators operated by the department.
--- Train others to operate and maintain accelerator systems.
--- Once you become a qualified operator on any one system, you will share responsibilities for operating,
maintaining, and improving systems for which they are qualified.
--- Some job activities also require lifting 35 lbs. of weight without assistance.
Qualifications We Require
--- A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience
--- Five years or more experience in the electrical and/or mechanical trades
--- Experience with the operation of mechanical and/or electrical equipment
--- Experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
--- Ability to become a certified diver
--- Active DOE Q Security Clearance
Qualifications We Desire
--- Experience with various training operations
--- Experience with working in a team and/or independent environment
--- Experienced in the operation of pulsed power accelerators
--- Capable of multitasking and taking direction from members of technical staff
--- Demonstrated ability to produce technical documentation
