The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, and performing general administrative duties in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as "One Professional Team." Also may assist other administrative staff with overflow work, including word processing, data entry, and internet research tasks.Depending on location, may perform some or all of the functions listed below.
  
  Pay Range: Starting at $15.00 per hourPay rate is dependent upon education and experience
  
  Essential Functions:

  • Greets all visitors
  • Places, receives, and routes a high volume of calls
  • Sorts and files invoices on a daily basis
  • Supplies information to callers, relays messages, and announces visitors
  • Distributes mail on a daily basis
  • Maintains stocking levels of novelty inventory
  • Manages cash drawer/petty cash and daily/monthly reporting
  • Meets customers and handles their requests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned by manager Required Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
    • 3-5 years customer service experience Physical Demands & Competencies:
      • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
      • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
      • Safety & Product Knowledge
      • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds Supervisory Responsibilities:
        • None Work Environment:
          • Noise: Moderate, Environment: Indoors
