**Summary:**
Oversees construction of the project and coordinate all
construction activities on site, electrical, civil and -mechanical
solar installation work.
**Safety Accountabilities:**
+ Leads by example to show that safety is the most important
function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices
while
+ Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct
"at risk"
+ Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) occurs daily before scopes of
work
+ Ensures creation, training, and understanding of standard work
instructions (SWIs) for all Scopes of Work.
+ Ensures new hires receive job- and task-specific training prior
to work
+ Leads and support the site team in technical, quality and safety,
utilizing systems in
**Client Relationship Management Accountabilities:**
+ Provides excellence in the management and delivery of the
project, in-line with the client's expectations.
+ Strengthen and continually maintain client
**Planning:**
+ Provides information about site activities including routing,
fence crossings, traffic flow, water flow, moving farm animals, and
hazards for the landowners on the
+ Sets up initial layout and site infrastructure services to
include water, power, internet and office trailers and required
+ Schedules and ensures appropriate staffing for daily construction
activities with employees and sub-
+ Ensures construction disciplines are coordinating daily functions
to minimize schedule
+ Identifies potential schedule changes, workflow and staffing
+ Recommends and evaluates sub-contractors for use on
+ Monitors the construction site to oversee work in
**Leadership:**
+ Directs, guides, and coaches Superintendents and Craft to ensure
activities on site are understood and following established
processes through quality
+ Follows processes for systems and communication lines on site and
ensure implementation is
+ Assists with managing site
+ Fosters a culture of continuous
+ Ensures that project is utilizing Safety Management Systems
(SMS), Quality Managements Systems (QMS), Environmental Management
Systems (EMS) and technical
+ Performs audit functions to ensure
+ Chairs the daily (POD) Plan of the Day and the Plan of the Next
DAY (POND)
+ Chairs the Weekly 3 Week Look Ahead meeting
+ Supports the PM and APM for required management
+ Identifies and mitigates potential employee relations
+ Understands the budget productivities & production rates and
drives the project to be successful in both.
+ Ensures sub-contractors are monitored on
+ Supports the Logistics Program and involved with the processes of
materials handling and logistics.
**QA/QC:**
+ Supports the quality control program to ensure processes are
implemented according to the plan consistently, while enforcing
first time quality.
**Environment:**
+ Provides the required documents, drawings and other forms to
active projects for monitoring and maintaining the
+ Supports developing projects to complete all required permitting
activities before
+ Ensures training is provided and certifications are maintained on
field staff to comply with EMS
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
+ Advanced level of knowledge in:

+ Fundamentals of contract requirements
+ Interpreting state rules and regulations

+ Labor and equipment management to support schedule and budget
+ Understanding environmental concepts
+ Basic level of knowledge in:
+ Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
**Qualifications:**
+ High School
+ 3-5 years field experience in a Superintendent role in
renewables, utility work or heavy construction
+ OSHA 10 and/or 30 certifications
+ Must have a valid current driver license, eligible for corporate
vehicle insurance
+ Experience on projects that are larger than 250MW

Performs some sedentary office duties in the construction site
office, but the role also involves a significant amount of time
working outside on the active construction site performing
construction support activities.
**Anticipated base salary range:** $110,000- $135,000
