Medicine Research Group is thecombined offices of the School of
Medicine Research Office (SOMRO) and theSchool of Medicine Research
Education Office (SOMREO).The SOM Research Office supports all SOM
facultyand staff in research activities, education and training
opportunities. The SOMResearch Education Office (SOMREO) and the
sub programs of BSGP, MD/PhD, MSCR,and UPN are focused on providing
comprehensive training in both clinicalsciences and a basic
biomedical science discipline. The intent of the programsare to
provide students with an integrated and cohesive training
experiencewhile obtaining their degrees. Students participate in
activities common totheir programs while involved in the School of
Medicine curriculum.The SOM Research Group is looking to
hiresomeone excited about the opportunity to manage a grant-funded
program in oureducation office and to support departments with the
pre-award planning,organization, and preparation, and the
post-award administrative support. Thesr. grants coordinator will
work closely with research staff, PrincipalInvestigators and
scholars throughout the School of Medicine. If you are team

assigned deadlines this is the role for you!You will be a member of
a high functioningteam of administrative professionals who support
research and are integral toensure we meet the critical research,

EmploymentMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED;at least
5 years ofexperience directly related to the duties and
responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited
institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be
substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred
