Customer Service Associate Requisition IDreq17728 Working TitleCustomer Service Associate Position Grade05 Position SummarySuccessfulcandidate will be self-motivated and able to take responsibility, as they will towork without close supervision. This individual will have strongcommunication and interpersonal skills, enjoy working with the general public,and be able to work primarily in an outdoor setting. This individual will alsoneed to be a great team player and step up when they are needed. Sincethis individual is a key player, flexibility is a must. This person willparticipate in all departmental events and will at times need to adjust theirschedule to ensure coverage is available; department will provide at least a 2week notice before a permanent schedule change is required (coverage is neededmornings, need evenings, and weekends). Must be available to workweekend, evening and holidays as needed. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to thefollowing: - Provides support for event parking in the Cornell Parking Structure toinclude but not limited to: Point of contact, sales, and must be proficient incash management - Effectively communicate information about the UNM campus, including itsparking rules, regulations, and locations to students, staff, faculty, andvisitors - Provides visitors with parking validations - Provide traffic control when necessary - Provide conflict resolution to visitors, staff, and visitors when parking,traffic or other various issues or concerns are encountered while on campus. - Assist with special event parking, traffic and crowd control activities This is apotential temp-to-regular opportunity, subject to the selected candidate'sperformance throughout the temporary assignment, in addition to the businessneeds of the hiring department.AssignmentDetails:Days & Hours:M-F 7am- 8pm with weekends and evening hours requiredAnticipated StartDate: TBDProjected EndDate: TBDParkingArrangements: Responsibility of the selected employeeUNMTemps providesstaffing solutions to UNM departments requesting temporary employees aspositions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent,for peak work periods, and for special events.
