Participate in processing, monitoring and maintaining documents
regarding a variety of City programs in an assigned department or
division; assist all professional staff with routine and/or
clerical duties; maintain department filing systems records and
databases; and perform a variety of duties relative to the assigned
area of responsibility.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education directly related to the minimum requirements below may
be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
High school diploma or GED; and
Three (3) years of clerical or office assistant experience.
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the
ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six
(6) months from date of hire.

Must possess a valid certified typing test issued by a state
agency, county agency or an accredited educational institution with
a minimum score of forty (40) net WPM. Local typing tests may be
taken Monday - Friday 8am to 3:30pm at the following locations: NM
