One ABQ Volunteers- Mayor's Office VISTA Summer Associates

Mayor Tim Keller. The One ABQ VISTA Summer Associate initiative
will focus on dismantling systemic barriers to achieve racial,
gender, health and socio-economic equality. VISTA Summer Associates
will support the important work of our Office of Equity and
Inclusion, Office of Civil Rights, Mayor's Office and Albuquerque
Community Safety Department. We are currently seeking candidates
that are enthusiastic, organized, and have a passion for community
interaction. One ABQ VISTA Summer Associates will serve alongside

Member Duties : One ABQ Summer Associates will participate in a
number of activities including; researching a variety of civil
rights, human rights, and equity topics, reaching out to residents
regarding issues around equity and civil rights, supporting the
creation of coordination of city-wide community gardens program.
One ABQ Summer Associates will also address food insecurity by
supporting the mayor's office composting and food waste project
designed to support low income communities.
