Position Description Human Training Data/Factors Engineer Location NM-Albuquerque Job Code 7308 # of openings 1 Apply Now (/phg04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=AKIMEKATECH&cws=43&rid=7308) The Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for an individual with Human Training Data and Human Factors Engineering to support the Advanced Search and Discovery (ASD) capabilities of the Defense Threat Reduction Information Analysis Center (DTRIAC) and its Advanced Search and Discovery (ASD) program out of Albuquerque, NM. DUTIES INCLUDE: + Act as subject matter expert with focus on machine learning, artificial intelligence, deep learning, data analytics, big data, and data virtualization. + Work with DTRA, DoD and DOE organizations to stand up data engineering and machine learning capabilities. + Consult on issues concerning automation and detection in business networks, including recommendations for a variety of custom and COTS solutions.Versed in experimental design. + Provide a flexible but formalized approach to collect human training data on the DTRIAC digital collection to support ASD development and analyses; + Support in SME workflows for ASD SME Projects; Training data to be collected, and collection records to be reviewed/analyzed/scraped; Training of Project SMEs in execution of the Project workflow(s); Execution of the Project workflow(s) by the Project SMEs; Quality assurance and quality control of the Project workflow(s); Travel by Project SMEs to DTRIAC or other locations for access to the IT systems supporting the Project workflow(s), if remote access cannot be arranged; Packaging of the Project outputs for use by ASD; Deliver a final report on the Project. + Conduct recurring research and taper official instructions and policies from multiple DOD counterparts, as needed for Intelligence units. + Write various technical documents including training guides, manuals, white papers, research papers, and reports related to human data and training. + Implement and enforce the proper data collection policies and procedures in the development of the DTRIAC repository. + Provide technical program related advice and guidance to team members in the design, development and implementation of current and future information systems to include programming methods, concepts and technologies related to computer applications that support the mission of the Agency. + Provide human data subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of collaborative knowledge management systems, including SharePoint, capable of driving analysis of business processes, interviewing stakeholders, evaluating strategic IT plans, auditing information and developing KM policies and programs to maximize organizational performance and enhance decision making ability + Identify areas of the ASD system were there is highest risk or were there is most uncertainty about how to develop methodologies. Report on risks and provide contingency plans to support in further human data training. + Analyze data repository to define relationships between data stewards and data objects for which data stewards are responsible. + Analyze existing and implement new project data standards (naming, class word, abbreviation, governance) to standardize development. + Analyze data (data quality, data definitions, data profiling, data catalogue) and industry data models. + Review and resolve issues in the acquisition, extraction, cleaning, and loading of data into database. + Data cleansing and data preparation for imbalanced datasets from the DTRIAC repository. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + At least ten (10) years relevant experience is preferred. + Expertise with various elements of mathematics, statistics and computer science. + Experience and expertise in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) field. + Experience collecting, evaluating, and implementing human training data for project analysis. + Experience supporting compliance with federal laws and executive orders. + Experience maintaining knowledge centers with classified and unclassified information is desired (media and document libraries). + May be required to travel. DESIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: + Bachelors degree in data science, statistics, mathematics or related field is preferred.
