Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Crime Gun Intelligence Coordinator Level IPAE NSS is seeking a Crime Gun Intelligence Coordinator Level I to support active contracts in Albuquerque, NM. The position may require limited CONUS travel.Description: The Crime Gun Intelligence Coordinator (CGIC) Level I position is primarily to support services related to data entry into various formats and databases. This position requires the ability to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed in searching, interpreting, selecting or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. Candidate must possess the skill and ability to analyze, summarize, report, and share information. Security Clearance Required: ATF Clearance Workweek: Monday through Friday Hours: 8am - 4pm Flexible Hours: No Position Responsibilities:Conduct entries and perform image and correlation reviews on NIBIN equipment after receiving training from ATF or other authorized trainerEnter traces into e-TraceEnter data into spreadsheetsEnter data and updating charts and reportsEnter evidence into Integrated Ballistic Information Systems (IBIS)Perform image and correlation reviewsProduce basic analytical productsSummarize information in writingEstablish rapport with others to accomplish objectivesPosition Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Valid U.S. Driver's LicenseMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearanceMust able to successfully complete the ATF clearance processB.S. Degree from accredited college or university preferred. Combination of formal education, work experience and on-the-job training will be consideredGeneral experience with local, State, or Federal law enforcement is preferred, but not requiredMust be willing to provide a DNA sample as part of employment screeningAbility to work with and coordinate the efforts of local, State, and Federal law enforcementAbility to analyze, summarize, report, and share informationWorking knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and softwareMust successfully pass the competency testing for acquisitions and correlations review after being trained to perform image and correlation reviews on National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) equipmentOccasional travelPAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
