Overview

The Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) Human Resources Department is seeking a talented individual who is experienced in full cycle application support. You will join the HRIS team in supporting our Human Resources Management (HRM) System, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and multiple integrations to other ancillary HR applications.

Summary:Uses analytical, technical and problem solving skills to partner with HR staff in order to optimize the various HR Applications in support of business needs. Work with HRIS Director to support, assist, and implement HR technology projects, in compliance with IT policies.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:Design, configure, and maintain HR applications for compensation, employee relations, benefits and recruitment data regarding movement of employees within the Presbyterian System.Provide support regarding system issues and technical problems. Works with IT staff and vendor technical personnel as needed to resolve complex system/software issues. Works with various internal HR and IT departments and personnel locally and virtually, in order to provide optimized information system support to the organization including data uploads, audits, downloads and development of interfaces. Works with HRIS Director to customize PresSource to identify and meet the processing requirements for HR and PHS. Makes recommendations for system enhancements, process improvements and controls. Participates in system testing related to patches, fixes, upgrades/conversions or new module implementations for all systems/software assigned. Provides access to data and tools necessary to support the creation and maintenance of HRIS ad hoc reports and routine compliance reporting. Manages, maintains and audits security roles in compliance with accepted auditing standards. Creates, reviews, and maintains end user and system documentation.Prioritizes and delivers on multiple in-flight projects at the same time across multiple departments. Provides training in support of HR information systems to include designing training tools. Assist with training of managers and end users on applications within the vendor product.Maintain and monitor daily system interface files, reports, system messages and alerts in support of HR information systems. Initiate correcting entries or coordinate corrections with business owner or IT as necessary. Conduct regular scheduled audits of HR data to ensure accuracy. Ensure that information provided on various HR data forms is consistent with HRIS standards to ensure data integrity. Communicate with and educate the HR team on needed changes/adjustments. Assist with organizational compliance audits as necessary. Create and maintain ad hoc reports from source applications for the HR team and other departments within the company as requested. Works with HR to generate routine compliance reporting. Provides assistance to Payroll group in creating and producing reports, testing payroll enhancements, patches, and in implementing new pay programs. Perform basic configurations in HRIS system using configuration console & Lawson Pattern Language (LPL) to help support processes and system navigation. Works with IT and Business SMEs on the selection, implementation and testing of any new HR software/systems.Understands and translates components of employment law and organizational policies into system solutions.

Qualifications

Other information:Education: HS Diploma requiredMinimum two years work experience in supporting HR technology required or four years in application systems analyst role.Proficiency in MS Office Suite required with advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with MS Access helpful. Requires analytical problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and good organizational skills. Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information. Familiar with project management principles.*Previous experience with Lawson/Infor and iCIMS preferred.
