597BR Title: Project Controller- Nuclear Deterrence Location: Albuquerque, NM Job Summary: This job posting is at the Member and Senior levels. If a Principal level employee applies and is selected, they will be moved into the Member or Senior level and their salary will be adjusted if necessary. Level promotions are not permitted on this requisition. Employees must remain in their current position for one year before applying for a new position, with the exception of student interns. Job Number: 597BR Knowledge, Skills, Ability: The Neutron Generator Business Operations Team teams with the Neutron Generator Enterprise to provide professional services in financial analysis, project management, space management, training administration and general business administration. Department staff work in a highly matrix environment, integrating tightly with our line customers. The Enterprise has a highly focused mission around designing, building and shipping key components to our Nuclear Deterrence customers and plays a crucial role in the Nation's Nuclear Deterrence Program. As a project controller, you will be engaged in both the legacy and modernization programs and use a full suite of project management tools to fulfill your responsibilities. On any given day you may: Create and maintain resource loaded project schedules Provide earned value cost and schedule variance analysis Submit and execute baseline change requests Create and maintain risk management entries and/or processes Develop program summary slides Facilitate project plan development Create and maintain project information systems Develop monthly, annual, and mulita-year budget forecasts Create ad-hoc cost estimates Resolve resource over or under allocation conditions The technical team relies heavily on their project controller and you will be a vital member of that team.
