Job Description:

Shift: 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm); Rate: $12.00/hr Position Summary: With supervision, performs basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components, printed circuit boards, or subassemblies in accordance with military and/or other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal and/or written instructions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Understand assembly drawings and identify components * Solder components and subassemblies as directed to build and complete a circuit card assembly * Form and bend wire to specification * Follow and support Lean and 5S initiatives * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Positive Cultural Alignment: Embrace, promote, and live the company values of Integrity, Creating Solutions, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence, all in support of a positive and inclusive team spirit. Working Conditions: * Manufacturing Job Requirements:Job Specifications / Required Qualifications / Skills:* High school diploma or GED* Must be reliable; reliable attendance required* Ability to read and understand work instructions* Ability to understand assembly drawings and component ID* High level of manual dexterity and ability to handle minute components/parts* High level of accuracy and attention to detail* Ability to meet time standard requirements* Basic math skills and knowledge of measuring devices required* Experience in electronic manufacturing preferred but not required* J-STD-001 certification preferred but not required* Mil-standard experience preferred but not required* Willingness to learn, be adaptable and flexible in role* Ability to work effectively with diverse populations* Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writingAdditional Requirements:* U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED* Ability to work the hours necessary to complete activities, as required.* Must be able to pass drug testing and a background check (no felony convictions)Physical Requirements:* Work Environment: Manufacturing environment where the noise level is generally quiet to moderately noisy.* Weight Requirements: Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds.* Body Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to stand, sit, and move about facility for long periods of time.
