is seeking a Hardware Engineer for
the Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment
program. This position is to support the Space and
Center Advanced Systems & Development Directorate (SMC/ AD) to
deploy, modernize, and expand the EDIS program and its
customers. The position is located in Albuquerque,
The candidates selected for these positions will:
Mission Working lead of
a small team of hardware engineers
Design, develop, debug,
integrate, test and sustain ground equipment hardware solutions
that supports systems, subsystems and unit level elements of
spacecraft/vehicle throughout its entire design life cycle which
operations/sustainment and end of life phases.
Work closely with the
Software and Systems Engineers to determine the correct
equipment specifications to accommodate the mission.
Documents and works to
resolve all complex electrical engineering problems.
solutions to ensure that all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and
organization standards and customer requirements.
engineering artifact reviews to determine if engineering
drawings correspond to
Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
engineering reviews and follows and enforces engineering
A Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or
9+ years of experience
in the areas of electrical design and engineering.
Demonstrated ability to
plan and design project work to meet project objectives and
utilizing industry standard Computer Aided Design (CAD) products
for documenting system designs. This includes experience
data packages and documentation in accordance with DoD standards
