Job Description Job Description VIP staffing is immediately hiring a Soldering tech for a leading organization in Albuquerque, NM This is Full Time Temp to hire- Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 with a 30 min lunch. Pay is $14 per hour As Soldering Tech you will: Perform setup, calibration, assembly, soldering and operation of production and testing equipment across all departments. Troubleshoot and solve manufacturing issues, ensuring smooth operations in each department. Record observations and findings during the assembly process in all departments and implement corrective measures as needed. Ensure work instructions and safety protocols are strictly followed in each department. Conduct functionality tests and inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to customer specifications. Operate specialized tools such as needle punches, perimeter cutters, wire handling equipment, soldering tools, and laser cutting machinery, depending on the department. Collaborate with the engineering department to address technical feedback and improve processes. Monitor progress on all assemblies in each department, following up to ensure project timelines are met. Soldering Tech candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration: High School Diploma or GED required Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple production departments. Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, adjusting for different production processes. Basic Computer Skills Great communication skills Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced production environment Have strong attention to detail Be self-motivated, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
