processes for the Water Truck Driver at BlackRock Services. The
Water Truck Driver is responsible for maintaining safe and
efficient haul roads, plant yards, and work areas by operating
water trucks for dust control and surface maintenance. This role
supports mining and plant operations by ensuring proper road
conditions, minimizing hazards, and maintaining compliance with
safety and environmental standards. Role Overview & Purpose Operate
water trucks to control dust on haul roads, pit areas, and
stockpiles. Perform routine general daily maintenance, service,
fueling, and repairs on equipment. Monitor and maintain equipment
to ensure reliability and safe operation. Deliver and support the
water truck driver KPIs: 1. Water Truck Operations (What We Do)
Operate water trucks daily to control dust on haul roads, pits, and
stockpile areas. Apply water evenly and safely to minimize dust
without creating slippery conditions. Refill tanks and monitor
pumps, hoses, and spray systems for proper operation. Track water
usage and dust coverage for reporting and compliance. Inspect haul
roads for visibility, dust hazards, or unsafe conditions.
Willingness to cross-train to support team when water truck
operation is not needed. 2. Safety & Compliance Adhere to MSHA,
OSHA, and company safety standards for equipment operation. Conduct
pre-shift inspections of water truck. Use proper traffic control
and communication when working on active haul routes. Document and
report safety incidents, near misses, or hazards immediately.
Ensure compliance with environmental standards for dust and runoff
control. 3. Equipment Operation & Maintenance Perform daily
inspections of water trucks, including fluid levels, brakes, tires,
and hydraulic systems. Conduct basic preventive maintenance such as
fueling, lubrication, and cleaning. Report malfunctions promptly
and assist mechanics with repairs as needed. Keep equipment clean,
safe, and properly stored after shifts. 4. Teamwork & Communication
Coordinate with dispatch to ensure haul routes remain open and
efficient. Participate in daily safety meetings and ongoing
operator training. Provide feedback on road conditions and
