Clean Harbors, a North American leader in comprehensive environmental services, seeks a dedicated Class B Hazmat Driver to join our team. This role is pivotal in helping us fulfill our mission of safeguarding the environment through safe and responsible handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating vehicles equipped with the latest safety technology to ensure the secure and compliant transport of hazardous waste from customer sites to designated facilities. Safely transport hazardous materials in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure functionality and safety. Ensure all paperwork pertaining to shipment, transport, and disposal is complete and accurate. Communicate regularly with dispatch and operations team to report any issues or delays during transport. Participate in regular training sessions on safety and emergency response techniques. Maintain cleanliness and operational capability of assigned vehicle and equipment. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Proven ability to operate Class B vehicles and other transport equipment. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (DOT, EPA, state regulations). Strong orientation towards safety protocols and efficient driving practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to manage logs and records digitally. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Hazmat Endorsement is required. Clean driving record. DOT medical certification.
