Each day inspires in special places like this. - Low-cost shared dormitory housing available for $65/ week, including utilities and wi-fi - Housing includes free on-site laundry and a communal area for cooking - Live amongst the giant sequoias - Access to hundreds of miles of hiking trails with campsites, caves, mountains, rivers, and lakes to explore! What will you do? - Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors - Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room; take clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets - Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures - Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems - Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies; deliver cribs, roll-aways, and additional items as requested - Drive vans, industrial trucks, or other vehicles - Assists with cleaning Guest Rooms occasionally More about you - No experience or diploma required - At least one year working in hospitality industry preferred - Must have a valid driver's license Physical requirements - Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties - Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Shift details Days Evenings Holidays Weekends OT as needed Weekdays as needed 8hr shift Who we are Sequoia National Park offers an opportunity to see the giant Redwoods that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
