ECS is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to work in our Albuquerque, NM office. Job Description:ECS is looking for a Senior full stack Java Developer to perform task based and project-based work. You will receive tasks from a variety of sources to include Email, IM, phone, stand up meetings, and ticketing systems. You will self-identify projects and also receive them from the customers. The majority of your work will be with a team using agile methods for software development. You will perform full stack software development, testing, work directly with customers to get requirements and create stories, and keep project documentation up to date. Candidate will need the ability to partner with other IT teams such as corporate cyber security, software development and business. Some work may be done remotely, but it is expected that the chosen candidate will be able to come onsite as needed, which may be daily during peak periods. Due to this requirement, chosen candidate should live within 60 miles of Albuquerque, NM. Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science plus 8 years of related experience. In lieu of degree, candidate must have a minimum of 14 years of total related experience in software development, programming, testing, or software engineering.
• Experience in full-stack software development experience using Java.
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including strong interpersonal skills
• Must have ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance but no clearance is required to start Desired Skills:
  • Experience with cloud native infrastructure services (caching, configuration management, message bus, service discovery)
  • Experience developing microservices written in Java
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud native infrastructure components (e.g. Hashicorp Consul/Vault, Ambassador, Apache Ignite, Splunk).
  • Experience or familiarity with Mongo.
  • Experience with different java-based test and performance tools.
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
