Job Overview

This job announcement will be accepting candidate submissions until 19 March.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensures program is securing, guarding, shielding, protecting, and preserving national level security information.
• Establishes and publishes policy to manage the information security program, providing advice and guidance.
• Evaluates functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Responsible for the planning of network architecture from cradle-to-grave, to include planning, researching, purchasing, and delivery execution of network resources.
• Manages operation of Information Systems; optimizes system operation & resource utilization and performs system capacity planning/analysis; performs system security analyses on client networks.
• Ensures systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of properly.
• Collaborates on and maintains IT security documentation, including security plan, risk assessment, incident response plan and contingency operations.
• Relocation costs or other incentives may be available and considered by the organization. Telework

  Required Qualifications
  • United States Citizenship
  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Drug testing position
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to apply IT security principles, methods, and security products throughout the system life cycle management process.
  • Certified IAT Level II within the DoD Approved 8570 Desired Qualifications
    • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
    • Previous ITSRP experience
    • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity career field
    • Bachelor of Science in Information Security or equivalent
    • Experience working RDT&E w/in DOD
    • Experience working with National Security Systems
    • Experience with network architecture development and deployment
    • Experience with requirements definition and procurement of network resources
