JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY:

Participates in all phases of the recruiting cycle. Assists in the implementation of the Company's recruitment strategy through talent identification, attraction, applicant assessment and through partnership development within the supported business areas. Consults with supervisors regarding the recruitment and selection of qualified candidates to meet the staffing requirements of the Company in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Identifies and/or develops initiatives and programs designed to achieve the Company's Talent acquisition, Affirmative Action and Diversity objectives, with the input of management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learn job responsibilities, skill requirements and fit attributes for approved requisitions

Develops strong relationships with outside organizations and educational institutions to foster and maintain diverse recruiting pipelines

Finds and develops authentically creative ways to articulate vision, values and purpose of the Company to capture applicant attention

Handles difficult-to-fill, complex and/or technical requisition assignments

Assists with the creation and implementation of a recruitment strategy to attract and identify qualified candidates to fill posted vacancies

Researches, assembles, analyzes, reconciles, and coordinates information for a variety of complex sources to be used in making recommendations to management

Collaborates with various groups on a range of Human Resources related issues

Post positions, source candidates, screen resumes, and conduct behavioral based interviews to assess fit

Provides suitable consultation to management to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws governing recruitment, pre-employment, and employment related matters

Demonstrated experience recruiting, interviewing, and selecting talent for various positions

Working knowledge of recruiting management software and applicant tracking systems

Advanced knowledge of Internet recruitment techniques (e.g. Boolean search or other query methodologies)

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple position requisitions and recruiting tasks at one time

Skilled in offer negotiation

Understanding of benefits, incentive plans and compensation practices to convey Total Rewards offering to candidates

In depth understanding of Affirmative Action programs and the laws and regulations related to staffing and recruitment

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree with five to seven years of experience in high-volume, technical recruiting in a corporate environment or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Demonstrated experience with Boolean search or other query methodologies.

Experience sourcing candidates through various channels (web, professional networks, consortiums, etc.)

Experience with multiple applicant tracking systems to track and report on recruiting metrics

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

PHR or SPHR Certification is preferred

AIRS Certification is preferred (CIR, ACIR, PRC, etc.)

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management

Ability to negotiate diplomatically with both internal and external groups while gaining and maintaining trust from all parties

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with spreadsheet, database, and word processing software

ANALYSIS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY:

Ability to analyze Company-wide recruitment needs and implement effective recruitment strategies. Ability to analyze needs and risks.

DECISION MAKING:

Demonstrates wisdom and good judgment when making decisions. Demonstrates effective client relationship building and consulting skills. Makes decisions while maintaining a dedication for meeting the expectations and needs of clients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to sit up to 2/3 of the time and to stand or walk up to 1/3 of the time. Manual dexterity is required to perform computer applications and good vision is required to perform all aspects of the job. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment. Some travel is required.

Salary Grade: G06
Minimum Midpoint Maximum
$67,996 - $91,795 - $115,593
