Provide mentoring and subject matter expertise to immediate team members based on business requirements. Delivering on large-scale reporting and analytical projects with minimal oversight from management. Act as central point of contact for screening key deliverables by applying subject matter expertise before they are productionized.Responsibilities:Responsibilities:Project Management and Execution:

  • Lead the effort in providing direct strategic guidance to colleagues on standard practices of development (Tableau, SQL, Epic)
  • Must act as the subject matter expert on all operations/workflow as the direct line of contact for business senior leadership on all assigned analytics projects
  • Independently provide strategic analytics intelligence to business senior leadership in the form of executive summaries & high-level dashboards
  • Lead the development of Center of Excellence (COE) roadmaps and project plans in coordination with senior leadership in the Analytics organization and business senior leadership
  • Must possess the ability to work and manage all stages of reporting and analytics project life cycle, from requirements gathering to project socialization, engagement, and adoption by oneself.
  • Must be able to distinctively synergize tactical and strategic deliverables that are scalable to multiple business units.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and seamlessly create cross-functional tools and deliverables to bridge those gaps.
  • Must have the ability to establish and maintain strong partnerships with the relevant business areas.
  • Must be able to deliver and focus on multiple large-scale deliverables simultaneously.
  • Will be a self-starter, focusing on proactively approaching, and identifying business gaps that will result in meaningful insights and other related deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate to multiple levels of business through both oral and written communication at appropriate time intervals.
  • Effectively integrate disparate data sources into customer/business facing solutions.Training and Guidance
    • Actively disseminate subject matter expertise gained through certifications to customers and peers.
    • Serve as main point of contact for inquiries related to aforementioned certification requirements.
    • Independently mentoring lower level staff on execution, delivery, and content while maintaining an open line of communication to management.Thought Leadership
      • Participate in developing presentations/publications/point-of-views with senior leadership within the Analytical Organization (AO).
      • Contribute towards and assist senior leadership in developing a year-end value story to demonstrate value of the team and their contribution to progress towards the AOs and PHSs goals.Qualifications:Other information:A Bachelors in a data and analytics affiliate field such as Business Statistics and Analysis, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related coupled with four or more years of experience in data compilation, reporting and analytics utilizing data and analytics tools. In lieu a Bachelors degree, at least six years working experience in a data analytic related field, where a minimum of two years of experience must be supporting health care operations in a health plan and/or delivery system with data, reporting and analytics. Also, needs additional four or more years of experience in data compilation, reporting and analytics utilizing data and analytics tools. Demonstrated skills in leading a team through standard processes or projects. Must demonstrate strong analytical skills/capabilities. Excellent written and oral communications is a MUST. Strong working knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Office products and other analytical tools such as SAS, Business Objects, Tableau etc. Prior Business Objects, relational databases, and health care experience preferred.
