Payroll Coordinator
Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Payroll Coordinator to work in our Albuquerque, New York, or Merrimack location.

The Team

The Payroll Delivery Coordinator supports the execution of core payroll activities. This role is responsible for responding to moderately complex requests, managing a stream of daily work ensuring that it is completed with a high degree of quality, and processed within service expectation standards.

The Expertise You Have

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in Payroll, Accounting/Finance, HR, or Operations
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, HR, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Basic level of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) skills required

    • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and effectively communicate standard to complex calculations as routinely seen in paycheck production (i.e., taxes, deductions).
    • Strong oral and written interpersonal skills required for emails and/or calls to employees, business partners and 3rd parties as well as Federal, State and Local agencies.
    • Demonstrates focus and attention to detail in a high volume of workload while processing with a strong quality and accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
    • Operate with a can-do attitude and foster a positive environment.
    • Demonstrates curiosity and dedication to continuous improvement and continued learning and achievement.



      The Value You Deliver

      • Seen as process-level subject matter expert in support of reviewing, researching, and performing payroll transactions and customer inquiries.
      • Supports core payroll cycle activities required to generate pay slips and payments for both Bi-Weekly and Weekly cycles, as well as more complex off-cycle activities.
      • Manages and responds to moderately complex employee inquiries and critical issues
      • Works with internal business partners and external 3rd parties to triage issues; provides analysis on existing processes and transactions (e.g., working with external collection agency, working with LOA vendor, etc.)
      • Makes decisions based on detailed policies and procedures; recognizes exceptions and may raise decision for approval



        Dynamic Working

Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks.
