Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced
Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a mobile outreach role
requiring ARDMS OB/GYN and Fetal Echo certification with a minimum
of 5 years of experience serving women's imaging clinics across New
Mexico. Details - Mobile outreach position serving clinic locations
in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe, NM - Focused on low and
high-level women's imaging for pregnant patients - Equipment
includes GE E22, GE E10, and GE S10 ultrasound machines - Charting
performed in Cerner - 4x12 hour day shifts, 5:15 AM – 7:00 PM,
including daily travel time between facilities - No weekend shifts
required - No on-call requirements - The team departs each morning
from the Eubank Clinic employee parking lot, where the outreach
vans are stationed - A driver transports the sonographer on
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; the sonographer drives the
outreach van on Tuesdays (Gallup) and Fridays (Santa Fe)
Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of sonography experience - ARDMS
OB/GYN, ARDMS, ARDMS Fetal Echo (FE), and BLS certifications
required - NM State License required (pending license accepted) -
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision -
Must be able to complete a safe driving module to operate the
outreach van on designated days - COVID vaccination required;
religious and medical exemptions accepted with a provider-signed
exemption form - License required if applicable Additional
Information - Candidate must reside in Albuquerque, NM for this
role - Candidates living within 100 miles of the facility are not
eligible for this position - First-time travelers are welcome to
apply - RTO requests exceeding 7 days require approval - Scrub
color is burgundy - Sonographer must be comfortable working both
independently and as part of a team - Facility is a Level I Trauma,
Teaching, and Children's Hospital with 554 staffed beds - Contracts
and extensions must be a minimum of 10 weeks - Travelers who have
worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark are
required to take a 6-month break before returning American Traveler
