Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Espanola, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• 0.9 FTE position with 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• Weekend and on-call/call back shifts as needed /n• Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required /n• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation /n• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team /n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document according to policy /n• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episode /n• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel /n• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing /n• Minimum 2 years current experience in specialty required /n• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required /n• Must be team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment /n• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required /n• New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required /n• BLS certification through AHA, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross required /n• EPIC experience preferred with on-site training available /n• English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community, offering a range of inpatient care services.
