Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Espanola, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) - Deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols - Monitor and document patient conditions and responses - Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams - Identify and address patient education and discharge needs - Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel - Follow clinical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of current RN experience in specialty (Required) - Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment (Required) - Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment - Team-oriented with excellent communication skills Education: - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) OR ASN (Required) Certifications & Licensure: - Active New Mexico RN License OR Compact RN License (Required) - BLS Certification (AHA, ARC, or equivalent) (Required) Preferred Skills: - Experience with Epic EMR (Preferred, training available) About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
