4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience:
Minimum 1 year License: Must hold a valid nursing license
Certifications: BLS required, CPI preferred Must-Have: Experience
in medical/surgical nursing. Ability to manage a patient ratio of
1:6. Experience with Epic documentation system preferred.
Description: Provide high-quality care for adult and geriatric
patients. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
including physical therapy and respiratory services. Manage a
diverse range of patient diagnoses and special procedures.
Participate in ongoing education regarding patient care and nursing
techniques. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Provide wound care and manage IVs, central lines, and feeding
tubes. Demonstrate strong communication skills with patients and
family members. Support patients experiencing renal failure and
those requiring blood product administration. Work within the
established patient ratios and maintain proper documentation. Float
to similar units as needed based on facility requirements.
Participate in weekend rotations as specified in scheduling
guidelines. Assist with pre/post hemodialysis management as needed.
Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures.
