Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time
Occupational Therapist role offers the opportunity to work directly
with elementary and secondary school students, providing essential
support to enhance their fine and gross motor skills. With an
estimated caseload of 40-45 students, this position is based in
Corrales, NM, and requires on-site presence to effectively deliver
therapy services in a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focused on
fine and gross motor skill development Collaborate with educators
and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
environment Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to
meet evolving needs Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to
state licensing and school district guidelines Provide hands-on
therapy within elementary and secondary schools Qualifications:
Valid New Mexico RLD licensure or the ability to obtain it New
Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) license or eligibility
to acquire it Previous experience working within school-based
occupational therapy highly preferred Strong knowledge of fine
motor skills, gross motor skills, and pediatric occupational
therapy techniques Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work on-site full-time (37.5 hours per week) Benefits
