Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,324 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87110! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: Two (2) years current experience required in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: State Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS certifications. Must-Have: Selected candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia test. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols, and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Epic EMR experience preferred.
