Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered
Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care using the nursing
process. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care while collaborating with physicians, patients, and
interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced hospital
environment. Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care by
assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. -
Ensure safe, patient-centered, timely, and effective care during
assigned shifts. - Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed and document according to hospital policies. -
Coordinate care with patients, families, and the healthcare team. -
Follow and document clinical protocols and standards of care. -
Identify and address patient education and discharge planning
needs. - Supervise LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel as
required. - Complete age-specific and unit-specific competency
training as required. Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 2
years of current experience in specialty area - At least one
completed 13-week travel assignment - Ability to work in a
fast-paced, team-oriented environment - Strong clinical judgment,
communication, and organizational skills Preferred: - Epic EMR
experience (training available) Education Required: - Associate
Degree in Nursing (ADN) or ASN Licensure & Certifications - Active
New Mexico RN License or Compact RN License - BLS Certification
(American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health
