ICU/Critical Care RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106! Registered

in Post-Op Open Hearts, CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, SWANNs, ART
lines, CVCs, Chest tubes, Foley insertion, and NG Tubes
Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the
Cardio Thoracic ICU. This position requires a commitment of 13
weeks. The shift is a night shift consisting of 12-hour workdays. A
minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
Candidates with pending licenses are welcome to apply. Necessary
certifications include ACLS and BLS, with TNCC and NIHSS preferred.
The ideal candidate should have experience in Post-Op Open Hearts
and other critical procedures. Additional skills needed include
CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, SWANNs, ART lines, CVCs, Chest tubes,
Foley insertion, and NG Tubes. The patient ratio is 1:2. Weekend
requirements are as needed. Floating within the scope to
accommodate facility needs is expected. Compliance with COVID
vaccination requirements is mandatory, with exemptions considered.
This position involves caring for patients with various cardiac
conditions, including CABG, aortic aneurysms, and cardiac arrest.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential for
success in this role. Adherence to infection prevention protocols
and effective teamwork with interdisciplinary support teams will be
required. The nurse will engage in patient assessments, manage
complex medication protocols, and provide high-quality care to
