ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift using the nursing process • Two (2) years current experience required in an 18-plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit • Must successfully complete at least one 13-week travel assignment • Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required • Must successfully pass a BCA (Basic Cardiac Arrythmia) test onsite before starting assignment • One opportunity to re-test if failed; second failure results in contract cancellation • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team • Administer medication and treatments as prescribed and document according to policy • Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episode • Assume clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Required certifications: New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS • BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required • Epic EMR experience preferred • NIHSS certification preferred Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced patient care services with a focus on telemetry and progressive care units.
